Payment Policy
Medical services are provided and billed by Sound Integrative Health, PLLC.
Dr. Rinde participates in most of the major health insurance plans in the region and is able to bill on your behalf. Please see the list below for accepted health plans.
If your plan is not listed, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. However, we can provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company to instruct them to send reimbursements directly to you or you can see our cash rate policy below

Please note that all health plans may involve deductibles and copayments that you may need to cover. To verify your plan's coverage, you can provide your insurance company with our tax ID number: 260826352.
We do not have a contract with Medicare, which means we are considered Out of Network with them.

Questions about Insurance Fees?

Are my visits covered by insurance?
Dr. Rinde is a preferred provider for various insurance companies (refer to the list above). Each insurance plan varies, and some may require you to meet a deductible prior to coverage for your visit.
Do you accept credit cards and HSAs?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards, as well as HSA cards, making it convenient for you to complete your transactions with ease.
What determines the price of the visit?

The complexity of the medical visit determines the cost of the visit when we bill insurance. Factors include the number of issues being treated, the severity and complexity of the symptoms, the extent of the examination needed, and the level of involvement in the treatment.
​If my insurance does not cover your services, do you offer cash rates?

Yes, the initial office visit is approximately $500.00, while follow-up visits cost approximately $250.00. Please note that this does not cover the expenses for labs, supplements, or additional services (see below).

If you do not have insurance or your health plan does not include naturopathic services, Dr. Rinde is pleased to assist you and provides the following service rates for payments made by cash, check, or credit card, which are due at the time of your appointment:

Questions about Cash Fees?

How many visits will it take to treat my problem?
The time required to resolve the problem depends on its complexity. Many problems can be handled in just 1-2 visits, but more complex cases may require bi-weekly or monthly appointments for an extended time.

Do you accept credit cards and HSAs?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards, as well as HSA cards, making it convenient for you to complete your transactions with ease.

Do you offer sliding scale discounts?
We will consider sliding scale options when possible. Although we understand financial pressures, the expenses associated with running our practice may not always allow for discounted rates.

To become a patient, you must complete a meet and greet/discovery call over video, which you can do by clicking below. Dr. Rinde accepts specialty care patients for chronic health conditions especially those involving the digestive system. He is not providing general primary care for new patients. The meet and greet helps determine if the practice is a good fit and irons out issues such as logistics and costs. Telemedicine only and out of state patients will be reviewed case-by-case.
