Payment Policy

Medical services are provided and billed by Sound Integrative Health, PLLC. 

 

Dr. Rinde participates in most of the major health insurance plans in the region and is able to bill on your behalf. Please see the list below for accepted health plans.

 

If your plan is not listed, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. However, we can provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company to instruct them to send reimbursements directly to you or you can see our cash rate policy below

Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you could be responsible. You can always verify coverage of your plan by providing your insurance company with our tax ID number: 260826352

Are my visits covered by insurance?

Dr. Rinde is a preferred provider with many insurance companies (see list on left). Each plan is different, and some plans require you to meet a deductible before your visit is covered.

How do I know if you are a preferred provider with my insurance plan?

You should be able to do a search on your insurance company's online directory of providers. You can also call your insurance company and give them Dr. Rinde's NPI number.

Do you accept credit cards and HSAs? 

Yes, all major credit cards and HSA cards are accepted.

What determines the price of the visit?

The complexity of the medical visit determines the cost of the visit when we bill insurance. This includes the number of problems being addressed, how complex and severe the symptoms are, how much exam is required, and how involved the treatment is.

​If my insurance does not cover your services, do you offer cash rates?  Yes, First office visits are approximately $350 and follow up visit are approximately $150. This does not include the cost of labs, supplements or other services. (See below)

If you do not have insurance, or your health plan does not cover naturopathic services, Dr. Rinde is happy to work with you and offers the following service rates for cash, check, and credit card payments, due at the time of your visit:

Cash Payment Policy

First office visit: $385 (effective Jan. 1, 2023)

 

Return visits: $165 (effective Jan. 1, 2023)

Cash Rates for Services

​How many visits will it require to treat my problem?

This depends on how complex the problem is. It's not uncommon to have problems resolve after 1-2 visits, but sometimes more complex problems may require twice-monthly or monthly visits for an extended time.

Yes, all major credit cards and HSA cards are accepted.

Do you offer sliding scale discounts?

When we have the ability we will consider sliding scale arrangements . While we are sensitive to financial pressures the cost of running our practice does not always afford discounted rates.
